The "BSB" Secondary School of Innovations has been functioning since 2007.The School is operated with a license from the Ministry of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic. At the same time it has gained the status of a Cambridge Regional Examination Centre and has also been officially registered with QCA (Qualification and Curriculum Association in the UK). It gives the school the right to apply the English National Curriculum and examination courses.

In addition to the English National Curriculum the Azerbaijani language, literature, history and geography are taught by the teachers of the Azerbaijan Department in either Azerbaijani or Russian. The above-mentioned subjects are taught according to the Curriculum and Programmers of the Ministry of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic. Highly experienced teachers from the authoritative educational centres teach these subjects. In order to attract students` interest and students` attainment of subject material, modern methods such as computers, interactive whiteboards and DVD equipment are used. Competitions are arranged to test students' knowledge.Students are given good opportunities at the upper end of the school to gain the certificate given by the Ministry of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic. Important national days and holidays of the Azerbaijan Republic are recognised in the school through drama and display. Foreign students attending our school together with their parents and foreign teachers working here show great interest in such events.

One of the main purposes of the school is to help students to attain the culture, language and traditions of our country, and  to provide an opportunity for them to enter universities both in different countries of the world and also in the Azerbaijan Republic.
